Bio
Dino Valdez (1990) is a multidisciplinary artist born in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up studying martial arts from his father and abstract art from his mother. His recent work primarily focuses on the understanding of violence, conflict, and resolution.
His practice involves a wide range of mediums including painting, CAD, 3D printing, LiDAR scanning, print and projection. 
Dino is also the former Exhibitions Manager at Red Bull Arts Detroit, Founder of KO Studio Gallery, and former Curatorial and Exhibitions Coordinator at The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. His large scale and mural work can be seen throughout the city of Detroit and has been featured in projects by Apple, Southfield Public Arts, Foundation Hotel, and Shady Records.
He studied under Matthew Eaton whose mentorship and guidance helped develop his practice for almost 10 years.
Dino currently works from home with his wife and pup offering creative services and consultation to galleries, museums, and designer brands alike.
